Undergraduate Research at OHIO

Ohio University has a strong commitment to and focus on undergraduate research. Students have many opportunities to participate in research and creative activities here, both independently and in collaboration with faculty. Each year, we host a university-wide Student Research and Creativity Activity fair, where more than 600 undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral fellows present their original work. The Provost's Undergraduate Research Fund provides awards to support research by undergraduate students. As defined by this program, "research" includes scientific studies as well as scholarly work and creative projects.  Full information on these and other research activities is available on the website for the Vice President for Research.
