Scholarships at OHIO

Ohio University offers scholarships through the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. All incoming first-year students admitted for fall semester by February 1 are automatically considered for university-wide scholarships. There is no separate application to complete. Eligibility is based on GPA and ACT or SAT scores; and in some cases financial need, as demonstrated by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). See www.ohio.edu/admissions/tuition/scholfinaid/scholarships.cfm for more information.

Transfer scholarship amounts vary and are available for students beginning in fall semester. Transfer students admitted for fall semester by May 15 are automatically considered for all available transfer scholarships.

Ohio University also offers scholarships for students from disproportionately underrepresented groups, including multicultural and international students. Check out the Office for Multicultural Student Access and Retention at www.ohio.edu/omsar for more information.
